Stefani Germanotta, better known to you and me as "Lady Gaga," is no stranger to outrageous hairstyles. Her most recent foray into follicular manslaughter involves three totally different selections from three totally different sections of the hair dye aisle. This unusual 'do that she rocked in Paris recently was white, black and orange, and apparently is inspired by fox fur. Or Cruella de Vil. Or the Cat Lady from The Simpsons. Or 1997-era Ginger Spice.
Do you guys think Gaga's tricolor hairstyle is too much? It's certainly not, shall we say, her most visually pleasing, although she absolutely gets an A for effort and creativity. It's a hairstyle styled after a fox, people! Will the next Lady Gaga video feature her being chased through a forest on horseback by aristocratic British men in red jackets? The fact is, Lady Gaga is an artist, and even her choice in hairstyle is making us think and imagine its inspirations and hidden meanings.
Look at it this way, readers: Gaga is a revolutionary, and for too long has hair been confined to one color. It's good to see someone like her tear down the wall allowing us to finally (finally!) enjoy the dream of having three hair colors on the same head. It's futuristic, I tells ya! Do you want flying cars? Tough luck, kid, we all have to start somewhere. Let's follow Lady Gaga's lead with three hair colors and then work our way to the future.
